Dietetic
and nutrition
We have to be
of bad faith, not to realize that we don’t eat what
we like, but rather what we are told to eat.
The food industry,
with its economic power throughout the world, puts under its
control peoples and governments. It dictates to us by advertising,
legislating, and labeling as well as by it’s so-called
scientific research (of which it is the main sponsor), our
dietary habits. Large supermarket corporations act as they
wish, without any moral, and play directly with the health
of their costumers.
Most people are
dependent on their inaccurate beliefs in the field of nutrition
and I could multiply endlessly testimonies and examples such
as:
“Milk is
full of calcium, it is good for health”.
Well… NO.
The human being is unique in drinking the milk of another
species. Cows’ milk contains all the indispensable nourishing
elements for the growth of a calf between 0 and 1 year of
age. The problems due to its consumption by Man (asthma, allergy,
bronchitis, Eczema, etc.) are now well known.
In reality, people
who do not consume milk have a rate of cancer lower than the
world average (Asian countries for example).
Only their mother’s
milk is indispensable to human babies; it is the best food
for them. Breast milk, and especially colostrums (milk of
the first 10 days), is rich in elements protective against
infection. Breast fed Children will be more robust and less
exposed to allergies than others.
Hippocrates said
2,500 years ago: "May your food be your only medicine."
Here are few
dietary advices for a better, lighter and healthier life:
- Choose fresh
and organic foods
- Don’t
eat too much red meat (quit if you can)
- Eat good quantity
of raw food (fruits, vegetables, etc.)
- Eat a lot of
biogenic food (sprouts, royal jelly, bee pollen)
- Avoid as much
as possible:
· White
sugar and its derivatives
· Processed
and chemical foods
· Canned
foods and industrial meats
· Dairy
products (organic goat milk is OK)
· Alcohol,
coffee, soda, syrups
The consumption
of meat and animal products, which is one of the most important
death factors in western countries, is in direct relationship
with most of the sickness of our century (cardio-vascular,
cancers, obesity, etc.).
Talking about
diet, it is also very important to focus on our Acid/Alkaline
balance. Nowadays, because of stress, pollution, junk food
habits, etc., the balance that should exist in our body between
acid and alkaline substances is broken; our blood PH becomes
more and more acid.
The acidification
of the blood causes lots of troubles and health problems that
most people try to ignore because it seems they (and their
doctors) cannot solve them.
Here are some
common health problems related to over acidity (mostly caused
by food):
· Low
energy and fatigue
· Sensitive
to cold
· Can’t
get enough rest
· Depression
· Inflamed
or sensitive gums
· Sensitive
teeth to hot and cold
· Loosing
hair
· Dry
skin; eczema
· Cramps
or spasms
· Joint
pain
· More
sensibility to pain
· Infections
and low immune system
Also, when the
body is too acid, one put on wait and has terrible time loosing
it; the acidity of the blood burns the internal organs, so
the body’s only defense is to retain fat to protect
the organs again over acidity. Such persons then enter a vicious
circle where no matter what diet and what kind of physical
exercise, he/she will NOT LOSE FAT.
Food can be divided
in two groups: acid and alkaline. Our body needs the two types
of food, but one should eat more alkaline food than acid.
The taste is
not always a good clue to know how acid an aliment is. For
example, lemon taste acid, but once digested, has alkaline
residues. Chocolate tastes sweet, but has acid residues, so
it is considered acid.
